[Who:] "John Eddowes", Open
[What:] Anything?
[When:] Several days after the Batton Hollow log.
[Where:] Eddowes' Apothecary

The papers were headlined with a story about the imported technology being employed in airship design. In spite of the ban on medical and scientific experimentation, it seemed the country's leadership had no problems with allowing this sort of advancement...particularly if it mean the advancement of their fortunes.

Eddowes tended to ignore the first page; it was usually propaganda, no matter what the content skewed towards. His interests lay in the stories buried on the tenth page, where few people cared to read. These were after the obituaries, the editorials, the scathing diatribes about the youth today. On page ten, the really interesting stuff lay.

Today, for example, there was a short article about a journalist from a rival newspaper, arrested for "heresy so calamitous, this paper dares not repeat." Aside from the egregious misuse of the word "calamitous" (for Eddowes would rarely, if ever, call the written word disastrous), it was a fairly straightforward piece: the journalist was being held in the royal city, awaiting trial. The subsequent article was of more interest; clearly, it was a situation someone in the higher ranks was trying to keep quiet. Lord Alaric Previn's son was presumed kidnapped, and his governess, the last to have seen the boy, stood accused.

He was just scanning the article for some detail as to why the father might have been targeted when the door opened. Irritated, he refolded the newspaper to the front and set it aside. It would have to wait.

Who: Harry Feynman and Firuza
What: The Annual Talk About The Thing In The Basement
When: Evening
Where: The Feynman House

He's finished with any sort of experiments he might have been concocting for the day, save any notes that he may need to take and The Twins are out for an evening on the town. A careful, he hopes, evening on the town. Things in Basements are taken care of for the night, and there are no planned visits from his sister or his father on the horizon. Harry thinks that he can probably sit and relax with a book and perhaps a drink for the evening.

Ha ha. Nice try, sir.

Who: Abigail Davidson (or the artist formely known as Iphigenia); open!

What: She's doing some studying.

Where: The King's University.

When: late at night.

She's tired, of course--her eyelids keep drooping, and she can't help but find the literature textbook she's reading terribly boring. It may be one of her best subjects, but right now, all Abigail wants to do is sleep. Still, she keeps turning the pages, albeit more and more slowly.

Truthfully, she knows that it's dark now, and wonders how she'll get back to her room if she's half-asleep--she's a little worried. Abigail considers just staying at the library, but supposes that would be risky too; people might not like seeing a sleepy young woman when they open the library again in the morning.

She sighs, adjusting the oil lamp to be a tad brighter, and hopes for a good distraction to come along soon.

[Who:] Wanda, Pietro, OPEN.
[What:] Out and about.
[When:] Throughout the day.
[Where:] Various locations.

As safe as it is in Dr. Feynman's home, neither Pietro nor Wanda enjoy being cooped for very long. With assurances of being discreet, the pair make their way throughout High Grove, enjoying the sights.

Amongst the places that the twins go include the Great Market for purchases, Upper High Grove for lunch and tea, the port to watch the dirigibles landing and taking off at the airfield, and ultimately, the Clockwork Horse, where in the backroom they can relax their careful restraint, at least somewhat.
